Giladas Cukermanas (Ghil'ad Zuckermann, hebr. גלעד צוקרמן; g. 1971 m. birželio 1 d. Tel Avivas, Izraelis) – lingvistas,[2][3] poliglotas[4] ir Adelaidės universiteto profesorius.[5][6]
“Revivalistics”
Zuckermann įkūrė naują tarpdisciplininę, taip vadinamąją atgaivinimo (angl. revivalistics) tyrimų sritį, analizuojančią įvairiakryptį kalbos atkūrimą, atgaivinimą ir atgimimą.[7]
2012 m. jis kartu su Barngarla čiabuviais iš Eyre pusiasalio, esančio pietų Australijoje, pradėjo naikinimos kalbos (lingvicidas; angl. linguicide) atstatymo iniciatyvą, pavadindamas ją Barngarla „miegančioji gražuolė“ iniciatyva.[8]
Zuckermann[9] demonstruoja, kad sėkmingo kalbos atgimimo rezultate turėtų atsirasti hibridinė kalba.
Zuckermann ir Walsh (2011)[10] pasiūlo taikyti atgimstančios hebrajų kalbos pamokas Australijos čiabuvių kalbų ir kultūrų atgaivinimui ir įteisinimui. Zuckermann ir kiti (2014)[11] siūlo teisinę kompensaciją už kalbos praradimą dėl linguicido.
Zuckermann ir Walsh (2014)[12] teigia, kad kalbos atgimimas gerina savijautą ir psichinę sveikatą.
